Session Description

Being an inclusive, body-positive coach means listening deeply, meeting people where they are, helping them feel successful, and supporting them as they redefine what movement means to them. But at the foundation of great coaching—and it’s a skill rarely taught in traditional personal training certifications—is the ability to write effective, individualized exercise programs that truly serve your clients’ needs and goals.

Over the past 10 years, I’ve developed a programming system that my team at SSP has used with thousands of clients of all abilities, sizes, and goals. It’s scientifically sound, adaptable, easy to implement, and built to support real-world results. And in this session, I’m going to teach you exactly how to use it.

We’ll start by breaking down the key components of effective strength programming. Then, we’ll work in small groups to write programs, share feedback, and learn from each other. You’ll leave with a clear framework, more confidence in your ability to program for a variety of clients, and a system that makes writing workouts feel easy—even fun.
